ALPHA HISTORY
Alpha roots began in the early 2000’s with the WorldPrep Learning Center, a progressive school in Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
WorldPrep Learning Center offered a holistic curriculum geared towards preparing children for the realities of the world that they will eventually enter as adults. Its teaching methods were inspired by David Ausubel’s approach, which highlights meaningful learning and the use of advanced organizers to tap into learners’ prior knowledge of or experience with the concept being taught.
Alpha’s online predecessor was AHEAD Online, which opened its digital doors to the public back in 2008.
In 2020, AHEAD migrated all of its programs online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a move which was warmly accepted by parents and students. Thus begins a new chapter in providing quality education through a blended educational program to students in the digital form, spearheading the next revolution in education. This next exciting phase combines both AHEAD Education Group’s and WorldPrep Learning Center’s expertise in traditional education, progressive learning, and online learning.
